Large Print Daily Planner for Seniors: What Makes a Planner Easy to Read
Updated November 7, 2026
Many planners use 8–10pt type and pale grey lines. For a lot of readers that's simply too small. A large-print planner uses bigger type, stronger contrast and more space to write.
What to look for
Our large-print products use body text of at least 16pt and headings of 22pt or more, dark text on white, and writing lines spaced well apart.
- One idea per page section — no clutter.
- Simple sans-serif type.
- Room to write in a normal handwriting size.
Set it up together
If you're helping a parent or relative, fill in the important numbers page together and agree where the planner lives — by the phone or on the kitchen table.
